Kaskade broke the Uber Eats app when his fans tried 25,000 times to order pizza from him.
Kaskade loves pizza. Kaskade also loves performing in front of massive crowds around the world. In 2016, he was the first artist in history to sell out the Los Angeles Convention Center, and he wanted to do something special for fans who might have missed out on tickets. On one fateful afternoon, fans could request pizza and a pair of tickets to the show to be personally delivered by Kaskade via the Uber Eats app. The promotion took the internet by storm, and quite literally broke the Uber Eats app as demand shocked the system. Dillon Francis even joined the fun for a few deliveries that afternoon. KTLA, Mashable, and Billboard generated additional buzz for the stunt, and that started the beginning of a long-standing relationship between Kaskade, Uber Eats, and Uber (he even went on to play an exclusive concert for Uber Rewards members in San Francisco).
