Uber celebrated three of the 2018 GRAMMY® Best New Artist nominees’ Road to Success with a national, surround-sound campaign.
To celebrate Uber’s first-ever, official awards show sponsorship, we brought real driver-partners together with three of the 2018 GRAMMY Best New Artist Nominees for a ride to celebrate everyone’s unique Road To Success. The driver-partners are musicians themselves, and over 15 million viewers witnessed the real, organic conversations that took place during each ride. The commercials (below) featured Julia Michaels, Khalid, and Lil Uzi Vert, and were broadcast during prime segments of the show. The campaign was supported with billboards on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, billboards at New York’s iconic One Times Square, and an Uber Shuttle system designed specifically to bring VIP guests from Madison Square Garden to the official GRAMMY afterparty.
