Uber went to their version of the pitch (the asphalt), and rallied around the US Women’s National Soccer team during the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Playing (pun intended) off of the 5-star rating system, and the US Women’s National Soccer Team’s quest to collect their fifth star at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019, we created #OneMoreStar – a campaign executed in partnership with Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam. Across New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C., Uber drivers gave out more than 100,000 #OneMoreStar pins to passengers as a way to show our support for the team while they played in France. Further, we teamed up with Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan, and Indie Cowie to drive additional awareness (and serious street cred) for the campaign.
